Michael Rafferty is a conductor based in Wales, UK renowned for his thrilling, exemplary performances of contemporary music. He is the founder and Artistic Director of UPROAR | Wales New Music Ensemble, Wales only professional ensemble dedicated to the performance of contemporary classical music. Previously, he co-founded and for more than 25 years was Joint Artistic Director of Music Theatre Wales.
